Sophie Dozinel Renaux

She was admitted to the Brussels bar in July 2025, after obtaining her bachelor law degree magna cum laude and a master’s degree in civil and criminal law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. She enhanced her studies with an academic exchange at the Université de Montréal, where she focused on international transactions and Canadian law.

She then pursued further with an advanced master’s degree in business litigation and arbitration at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (Class of 2024–2025), where she also served as head of the partnerships division of the master’s association, fostering relationships with prominent legal professionals.

Before joining Vanderstappen-Robert, Sophie gained valuable experience through legal internships at several law firms, including Liedekerke, where she worked on commercial contract matters, and Tetra Law, where she was involved in corporate law issues. Her academic background was further enriched by her role as a teaching assistant in special contract law at ULB.

She specializes in corporate and commercial litigation, as well as arbitration.

To highlight a few of his most recent matter:

  • Shareholder disputes within international private companies and national semi-public entities.
  • Complex litigation concerning the termination and enforcement of a credit facility between financial institutions and corporate borrowers.
  • Construction-related litigation arising from the performance of a services agreement in the context of a large-scale infrastructure project.
